Hey so recently I discovered that a bakery in the food court at my building sells Arnold Palmers (1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade). Long story short, I’m hooked. But in my neverending quest to turn every drink in to a cocktail, I have come up with (hopefully) a brand-new libation. Are you ready? Are you sitting down? Good, here goes:
I call it the “John Daly”. It’s an Arnold Palmer with 2 oz of Crown Royal in it (more or less to taste. If you are the real John Daly, make it 6 oz).

That sounds like a summertime drink that I could get to like very quickly (being of the 6oz persuasion).
I have undertaken a quest to find an acceptable concoction that utilizes my favorite soft drink, Mt Dew. The uniqueness of the soda makes it very hard to mix with. The most recent of my efforts I believe to be the best and also very well hides the considerable amount of alcohol involved, making it an excellent lady’s drink. For this reason, I named it Mt Dew Me.
2oz 151 proof rum.
4oz DuKyper Green Apple liquor.
6oz Mt Dew.
The combination over shaved ice is quite smooth and thirst quenching. It also carries a considerable caffeine jolt which could be enhanced with the use of one of the caffeine “fortified” energy drink knock offs of Mt Dew.
well hot damn sir! You and I should put our heads together & come up with some more drinks!
